After his postgraduate research degree in law, Professor Christophe Collard worked for the French government and began teaching at the Lille School of Law. He joined EDHEC's core faculty in 1990 and was quickly given responsibilities, such as the co-management of the Legal Risk Management Major Programme. After a period as Head of the Law department at EDHEC, he was given the responsibility for the School's EQUIS re-accreditation process from 2004 to 2005. He has wide experience of teaching in foreign countries (especially in Poland and Algeria).
